And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Prior to God’s gift of salvation through Jesus, we were destined for condemnation. The law of Moses could never cover our sins, nor deter us from our sinful nature. Knowing this, God gave us the ultimate gift- his very own son, Jesus Christ. For it is Jesus that could only take away the sin we were born into, save us from the despair of Hell, break generational curses, cause demons to flee at the sound of His name, heal heartaches, break addictions, and ultimately love us unconditionally-even when we did not love Him first. The scripture shows us that those that are in Christ will face no condemnation.
Once we have accepted Jesus as our savior, there are no forces or circumstances that can separate us from that love. For when we truly accept Jesus as our savior, we let our sinful, worldly desires perish. Does it mean life will always be easy and we will never be tempted? No, but when we know that we cannot be separated from God’s love, peace and joy will follow for the things yet to come. This season, ask the Holy Spirit to guide your prayers to make God’s desires your desires. Accept the peace and comfort in knowing that you can never be separated from God’s love.
